Originally from Philadelphia, Joanne and husband, Bill, settled in Charlotte in 1973 to raise their
two (then) young children.
As their children grew, the Allen's fell in love
with their new "home town" and Joanne made the decision to help
other families make their relocation as successful
as theirs had been. Now, with more than 27 years
experience as a licensed
real estate agent, Joanne has helped more than
100 families with their real estate and relocation
needs. As a transplant
herself she knows that a move often means more
than just locating a house. She knows that a successful
move means accommodating
the requirements of an entire family. Like which
neighborhoods offer the kinds of homes and amenities
that fill her clients
needs, which schools offer the best academics,
music or other programs, employment companies that
specialize in specific
career fields, the nearest library, proximity to
churches and hospitals, "in" shopping for teens, and all those
million things that are so important to newcomers.
